I am Denise, a modern portrait artist with a passion for creating unique and unforgettable portraits for tweens, teens, high school seniors and beyond. I am a "Happy Appy" graduate from Appalachian State University with a degree in the Graphic Arts Industry. I have always loved creating art and that is exactly what we will do together when you book your session with me. My studio is nestled inside of a family owned 1976 tobacco warehouse in Rural Hall, North Carolina.  I spent a large part of my childhood and teen years growing up in the warehouse and it only makes sense for me to continue my journey in the location that holds such great memories for me.

Outside of photography, I am a daughter, wife, mother of two beautiful daughters and a loyal friend. I love to cook for them all and spend time outside on my patio listening to all genres of music. Music makes me dance and sing...while those around me laugh or join in so it's a win win. The greatest gift in life is my role as a mother. My highest calling is teaching my daughters the unconditional love of Jesus and how to be a willing vessel for His love to flow through. You can see me cruising around town in my 1973 VW Bus, Greta, with my windows down, music up and our Boxer Braxton sitting in the passenger seat. So, we should be friends!
